November 18, 2008 fourteen Wimberley Outdoor Educator volunteers lead 170 sixth graders from Wimberley Junior High School on a field trip on Cypress Creek at Blue Hole. The Wimberley Outdoor Educators are partners with Texas Stream Team. The students were lead through three activities: water ecology, cliff geology and plant identification. Cypress Creek was covered with fallen Bald cypress needles/leaves, making this a special fall experience.
